Lantern Log #1 — The First Light

Welcome to the first Lantern Log.

If you’ve found your way here, then you’ve discovered the small corner of the world we’ve been quietly building: BADLVCK Press.

BADLVCK Press is an independent creative studio built around stories, music, and strange worlds. It began with a single idea, that stories shouldn’t be trapped inside one format. A world can exist as a novel, a piece of music, a piece of art, or a quiet idea that follows you long after you’ve closed the page.

Our main fantasy series, Shadows and Strangers, begins with the first book The Fractured Path. It explores fractured realms, ancient laws, wandering companions, and the strange space between chaos and symmetry where stories truly begin.

But BADLVCK Press isn’t just one story.

Across this site you’ll find different projects slowly taking shape: novels, music releases, artwork, and fragments of a wider universe that we call the BADLVCK-Verse. Some of them are serious and strange. Others are experimental. Some are simply ideas we wanted to bring into the world.

The goal is simple:

To create worlds worth getting lost in.

BADLVCK Press is built independently, written, designed, and released piece by piece. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes unexpectedly. Always with the lantern lit.

These Lantern Logs will serve as small windows into the process: updates from the studio, world-building notes, music releases, artwork, and occasional glimpses behind the scenes.
